Kohler Command CH15S Specs

The Kohler CH15/CH15S is a 426 cc (26.0 cubic inches) single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine from the Command PRO series, manufactured by Kohler Co. The Kohler CH15 engine has an OHV (overhead valve) design, an aluminum block with cast iron cylinder liners, a horizontal PTO-shaft, full-pressurized lubricating system. The engine is equipped with a carburetor (Nikki or Keihin) with a fixed main jet and dependable electronic magneto ignition system. A 90.0 mm (3.54 in) cylinder bore and 67.0 mm (2.64 in) piston stroke provide a total engine displacement of 426 cc. The compression ratio rating is 8.5:1. The engine produced 15.2 PS (11.2 KW; 15.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of horsepower and 34.3 Nm (3.5 kgm; 25.3 ft-lb) at 2,400 rpm of maximum torque. Engine code identification: C - Command series, H - Horizontal PTO shaft, 15 - Horsepower. S - Electric start, ST - Electric/Retractable start.
