Tohatsu M15D2 2-Stroke Specifications
The Tohatsu M15D2 is a 2-stroke 2-cylinder forced water-cooled gasoline outboard engine with a rated power of 15 hp (11 kW) at 5200-5800 rpm. The engine cylinder bore is 2.17" (55 mm) and piston stroke is 2.05" (52 mm). A 15.1 cubic inches (247 cc) outboard motor has a carburetor fuel system, starting system with manual starter, flywheel magneto capacitor discharge ignition system, dog clutch shift system, manual trim/tilt, and handle tiller steering. The fuel tank capacity is 6.6 gal (25 liters). The propeller is made of aluminum and it has three blades.
