Tohatsu M4C Troubleshooting
The Tohatsu M4C is a 2-stroke 1-cylinder forced water-cooled gasoline outboard engine with a rated power of 4 hp (2.9 kW) at 4500-5500 rpm. The engine cylinder bore is 2.17" (55 mm) and piston stroke is 1.69" (43 mm). A 6.2 cubic inches (102 cc) outboard motor has a carburetor fuel system, dog clutch shift system, starting system with manual starter, flywheel magneto capacitor discharge ignition system, manual tilt, and handle tiller or remote control steering. The fuel tank capacity is 0.65 gal (2.5 liters). The propeller is made of aluminum and it has three blades.
