Mercury 6 Hp Specifications
The Mercury 6 is a two-stroke two-cylinder gasoline outboard engine with a rated power of 6 hp (4.5 kW) at 4000-5000 rpm. The engine cylinder bore is 2.13 in (53.98 mm) and piston stroke is 1.8 in (45.7 mm). The outboard motor has a fixed main jet WMC carburetor, cross-flow fuel induction system, integral type fuel pump, water cooled with thermostat, manual or electric starting system, and capacitor discharge ignition system. The remote fuel tank capacity is 3.2 gal (12 liters). The propeller is made of aluminum and it has three blades.
