| Diesel engine hard to start or doesn't start |
Fuel filter element is clogged - Clean the filter element.
Air in the fuel lines - Bleed the fuel lines.
Clogged injection nozzle - Check and replace nozzles if required.
Fuel injection pump is not operating properly - Repair or replace injection pump.
Valve timing is wrong - Set the valve timing correctly.
Restricted fuel pipes - Clean or replace fuel pipes.
Injection timing is wrong - Set up as recommended.
Damaged piston rings and cylinder - Replace faulty parts.

Dirty fuel filter - Change the filter element.
