Craftsman LTX 1000 Lawn Tractor
The
Craftsman LTX1000 is a lawn tractor from LT1000 series. This model was
manufactured by AYP built between 2001 to 2003. The Craftsman LTX1000 tractor is
powered by 29.9 cubic inches (490 cc) Kohler Command CV492 4-cycle single
cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a maximum power of 18 Hp (13.4 kW) and
40.1 Nm (28.2 lb-ft) of peak torque at 2400 rev/min, or 40 cubic inches (656 cc)
Briggs and Stratton 407777 four-cycle V-twin OHV vertical-shaft air-cooled
gasoline engine with a max power of 21 Hp (15.7 kW).
The Kohler engine has a carburetor with fixed main jet, diaphragm type
fuel pump, and air cleaner with a replaceable paper element. The Briggs
engine has a float-feed carburetor, pulse type fuel pump, and paper
cartridge air cleaner with a foam pre-cleaner. The Craftsman LTX 1000 is
fitted with two transmission options: Hydro-Gear 314-0510 belt-driven
hydrostatic transmission and Peerless belt-driven gear transmission with
6 forward and 1 reverse gears.
Max. forward speed - 5.5 mph (8.8 kph), maximum reverse speed - 2.4 mph
(3.9 kph). The Craftsman LTX1000 is equipped with 15x6.00-6 front tyres
and 20x10.00-8 rear tyres. The tractor is compatible with a 42"
mid-mount 2-blade mower deck with a cutting height of 1.5-4.0" (38-102
mm) and manual lift system.
