Ford LGT14D Garden Tractor
The
Ford LGT14D diesel garden tractor was manufactured from 1987 to 1991. The Ford
LGT14D tractor is powered by 37.7 cu.in (617 cc) Shibaura E643 4-cycle
3-cylinder water-cooled horizontal-shaft diesel engine.
The engine has a cylinder bore of 2.52" (64 mm), piston stroke of 2.52"
(64 mm), and max output power of 14 hp (10.4 kW). The Ford LGT-14D is
fitted with a 2-range shaft-driven hydrostatic transmission. The maximum
forward speed - 4 mph (6.4 km/h) using low range and 8 mph (12.9 km/h)
using high range.
The maximum reverse speed - 2 mph (3.2 km/h) using low range and 4 mph
(6.4 km/h) using high range. The garden tractor was equipped with a
manual steering system, mechanical disc brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires,
and 23x10.50-12 rear tires. The wheel base is 47.2 inches (1190 mm). The
Ford LGT14D is compatible with a 48" mid-mount 3-blade mower deck with
cutting height of 1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm), 42" front-mount single-stage
snowblower with mechanical lift system, and 46" front blade.
