Case IH 844 XL Tractor
The
Case IH 844 XL utility tractor was manufactured between 1985 and 1987. This
tractor is powered by International Harvester D-268 4-cylinder liquid-cooled 5 L
displacement diesel engine with a maximum power of 80 hp (59.7 kW) and 296 Nm
(218 lb-ft) of peak torque at 1300 rpm.
The Case IH 844 XL fitted with 2
transmission options: 16-speed range IH total-synchron transmission (16x8), or
8-speed range transmission (8x4). Max. travel speed (forward/reverse): 18.6 mph
(30 kph) and 10.8 mph (17.5 kph).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear
pump with a rated capacity of 8.7 gallons per minute (33 l/min). The hydraulic
pressure is 175 bar (2540 psi).
The front tires are 7.50x18 (2-wheel drive) and
12.4R24 (4-wheel drive). The rear tire size: 16.9R34. The wheel base is 94.1" (2390
mm) for 2WD models and 92.5" (2340 mm) for 4WD models.
