International Harvester 946
The
International Harvester 946 is a 2WD or 4WD farm tractor. This model was
manufactured from 1971 to 1977. The IH 946 tractor is powered by International
Harvester D310 4-stroke 6-cylinder direct injection water-cooled diesel engine
with a max output power of 85 hp (63.4 kilowatt) at 2100 rpm.
The International Harvester 946 is fitted with 2 types of transmission.
1st type: 12x5 fully synchronized transmission. 2nd type: 16x7 fully
synchronized transmission. Max. forward speed - 14.5 mph (23.3 kph),
maximum reverse speed - 13.6 mph (21.9 kph).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with a flow of 10
gpm (37.9 lpm). The hydraulic system pressure is 138 bar (2000 psi). The
