Ford 140 Garden Tractor
The
Ford 140 garden tractor was manufactured by Jacobsen built between 1969 and
1971. The Ford 140 tractor is powered by Kohler K321 4-stroke single cylinder
air-cooled gasoline engine with a maximum power of 14 Hp (10.4 kW) and 23.5 Nm
(31.9 lb-ft) of peak torque at 2200 rpm.
A 31.3 cu.in (512 cc) engine has a fixed main jet or adjustable main jet
carburetor, splash type lubrication, and forced-air cooling system. The
Ford 140 was fitted with a belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with
infinite forward and reverse gears. Max. travel speed (forward and
reverse): 7 mph (11.3 km/h) / 3 mph (4.8 km/h).
The Ford 140 was equipped with a manual steering, band brakes, 16x5.50-8
front tires, and 23x8.50-12 rear tires. The wheelbase is 43" (1090 mm).
Compatible attachments for the tractor: 36" mid-mount 2-blade mower
deck, 42" and 48" mid-mount 3-blade mower decks, 36" front-mount
single-stage snowblower, and 42" front blade.
