John Deere 1520 Tractor
The
John Deere 1520 is a two-wheel drive utility tractor. This model was
manufactured from 1968 to 1972. The John Deere 1520 tractor is powered by 164.9
cubic inches (2.7 L) 3-cylinder water-cooled diesel or gasoline engines with a
rated power of 51 hp (37.8 kW).
The JD 1520 is fitted with 3 types of transmission. Type 1: Collar shift
unsynchronized transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears. Type 2:
16x8 two-speed powershift transmission with high and low range. Type 3:
8x4 power shuttle transmission.
Max. forward speed - 17.1 mph (27.4 kph), max. reverse speed - 5 mph
(8.1 kph). The closed center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with
a flow of 10.5 gpm (39.7 lpm). The main relief pressure is 155 bar (2250
psi). The John Deere 1520 was equipped with a power assist steering
system, differential hydraulic wet disc brakes, 9.00x10 front tires, and
