Cub Cadet 1517 Lawn Tractor
The
Cub Cadet 1517 is a 1500 series lawn tractor. This model was manufactured from
2002 to 2003. The Cub Cadet 1517 driveline system components: Kohler Command
CV490S 4-cycle single cylinder vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine and
hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
A 29.9 cubic inches (490 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.60" (90
mm), piston stroke of 3.03" (77 mm), and rated power of 17 hp (12.7 kW).
The maximum travel speed (forward and reverse): 5.2 mph (8.4 km/h) / 2.3
mph (3.8 km/h).
The lawn tractor was equipped with a manual steering system, dry disc
brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x9.00-8 rear tires. The wheel base
is 47 in (1190 mm). The Cub Cadet 1517 is compatible with a 42"
mid-mount 3-blade mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0" (37-100 mm)
and six cut positions, 42" front-mount 2-stage snowblower with manual
lifting, and 46" front blade.
