Cub Cadet 682 Garden Tractor
The
Cub Cadet 682 is a 2-wheel drive garden tractor from IH-82 series. This model
was manufactured between 1979 and 1985. The Cub Cadet 682 driveline includes a
42.2 cu.in (691 cc) Kohler KT17 4-stroke 2-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine
and Sundstrand shaft driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and
reverse gears.
The engine has a side draft carburetor with adjustable jet, mechanical
fuel pump, and battery ignition system. The maximum forward speed - 8
mph (12.9 kph), maximum reverse speed - 4 mph (6.4 kph).
The Cub Cadet 682 was equipped with a manual steering system, integral
wet disc brakes, 15x6.50-8 front tires, and 23x10.50-12 rear tires. The
wheelbase is 44" (1110 mm). The tractor is compatible with the following
attachments: a 38" mid-mount 2-blade mower deck, 44" or 50" mid-mount
3-blade mower decks with cutting height of 1.0-4.0 in (25-102 mm), 36"
or 42" mid-mount snowblower with manual lift, and 42" or 54" front
blade.
