Ford YT-12.5 Lawn Tractor
The
Ford YT12.5 is a 2-wheel drive lawn tractor from YT-series. This model was
manufactured between 1987 and 1990. The Ford YT12.5 tractor is powered by Briggs
and Stratton 404707 4-cycle 2-cylinder vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine
with a rated power of 12.5 hp (9.3 kW), or Kohler Command CV-12.5S 4-cycle
single-cylinder vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of
12.5 hp (9.3 kW).
The Ford YT12.5 is fitted with 2 transmission options: Peerless 801
belt-driven gear transmission with 5 forward and 1 reverse gears, or
Peerless 920 belt-driven gear transmission with 5 forward and 1 reverse
gears. The maximum forward speed - 5 mph (8 kph), max. reverse speed -
1.6 mph (2.6 kph). The tractor was equipped with a manual steering
system, manual caliper brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 22x9.00-12
rear tires.
The wheelbase is 49" (1240 mm). Compatible attachments for Ford YT12.5:
38" or 42" mid-mount 3-blade right-discharge mower decks with cutting
height of 1.5-3.5" (38-90 mm) and mechanical lift, and 36" front-mount
single-stage snowblower with manual or electric lift system.
