Ford YT-16 Lawn Tractor
The
Ford YT16 lawn tractor was manufactured from Gilson built between 1984 and 1993.
Ford YT-16 tractor is powered by Briggs and Stratton 402707 4-cycle 2-cylinder
vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 16 hp (11.9 kW),
or Kohler MV16 4-cycle 2-cylinder vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine with
a rated power of 16 hp (11.9 kW).
The Ford YT16 is equipped with Peerless 801 belt-driven gear
transmission with 5 forward and 1 reverse gears. The maximum forward
speed - 5 mph (8 kph), maximum reverse speed - 1.6 mph (2.6 kph).
The Ford YT-16 was equipped with a manual steering system, mechanical
caliper brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 22.5x9.00-12 rear tires. The
wheelbase is 49" (1240 mm). The tractor is compatible with the following
attachments: 42" or 48" mid-mount 3-blade mower decks with cutting
height of 1.5-3.5" (38-90 mm) and mechanical or electric lift, 36"
front-mount single-stage snowblower with manual or electric lift system,
and 42" front blade with manual angle.
