Husqvarna LTH 151 Troubleshooting

The Husqvarna LTH 151 is a 2-wheel drive lawn tractor. This model was manufactured between 2004 and 2011. The tractor is equipped with a 29.1 cu.in (477 cc) Kohler Courage SV470 4-cycle single-cylinder vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine.

The engine has a cylinder bore of 3.3" (84 mm), piston stroke of 3.38" (86 mm), and rated power of 15 hp (11.2 kW). The Husqvarna LTH151 tractor is fitted with a 3 types of transmission. Type 1: Hydro-Gear 322-0510 hydrostatic transaxle. Type 2: Tuff Torq K46 BA belt-driven hydrostatic transmission. Type 3: Hydro-Gear T2 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission.

The maximum forward speed - 5.5 mph (8.8 kph), maximum reverse speed - 2.9 mph (4.6 kph). The Husqvarna LTH 151 tractor is equipped with a manual steering, disc brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 18x9.50-8 rear tires. The tractor is compatible with a 38" mid-mount 2-blade side discharge mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0 in (38-102 mm), manual blade engagement, six cut positions, and mechanical lifting system.

Engine Troubleshooting
Engine starts up hard or won't start
No fuel in fuel tank - Fill gasoline up
Incorrect fuel grade - Change gasoline

Loss of power

Excessive mower vibration
Drive sheave of mower deck is dirty or worn - Service or change sheave

Battery does not charge

Bad cell in battery - Battery replacement required
Starter turns slow
Low battery power - Recharge the battery
Battery is draining quickly - Service battery or change it
Terminals are faulty or battery cables are disconnected - Check cables and clean or change terminals
Starter does not work
Battery is drained or defective - Charge or change the battery
Wiring is improperly connected or disconnected - Check wiring and connect properly
Low battery capacity - Battery is drained, charge it
Spark plug faulty or incorrectly gapped - Clean, gap or replace spark plug
Starter motor or solenoid is defective - Starter/solenoid should be replaced
