The Husqvarna TS 242TXD garden tractor was manufactured from 2019 to 2022. The Husqvarna TS242TXD tractor is powered by 44.3 cubic inches (726 cc) Kawasaki FR651V 4-cycle vertical-shaft V-twin air-cooled gasoline engine with a maximum power of 21.5 Hp (16 kW).

The engine has an internally vented carburetor with fuel shut-off solenoid, full pressure lubrication with spin-on oil filter, and electronic spark ignition system.
