The
Husqvarna TS 242TXD garden tractor was manufactured from 2019 to 2022. The
Husqvarna TS242TXD tractor is powered by 44.3 cubic inches (726 cc) Kawasaki
FR651V 4-cycle vertical-shaft V-twin air-cooled gasoline engine with a maximum
power of 21.5 Hp (16 kW).
The engine has an internally vented carburetor with fuel shut-off
solenoid, full pressure lubrication with spin-on oil filter, and
electronic spark ignition system. The tractor is fitted with Tuff Torq
K46 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with automatic differential
lock and foot-controlled variable speed drive.
The maximum forward speed - 5.3 mph (8.4 km/h), maximum reverse speed -
2.9 mph (4.7 km/h). The Husqvarna TS 242 TXD is equipped with a manual
steering, pneumatic wheels, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x10.00-8 rear
tires. The lawn tractor is compatible with a 42" mid-mount 2-blade side
discharge mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0 in (38-101 mm),
electric blade engagement, 6 cut positions, two anti-scalp wheels, and
mechanical lifting system.
