The Husqvarna YT42DXLS lawn tractor was manufactured from 2017 to 2022. The Husqvarna YT42DXLS tractor is powered by two engine options: 44.2 cubic inches (725 cc) Kohler KT740 7000 Series 4-cycle OHV twin-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 25 Hp (18.6 kW), or 44.2 cubic inches (725 cc) Kohler KT735 7000 Series 4-cycle vertical shaft twin-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 24 Hp (17.9 kW).

The tractor is fitted with a Tuff Torq K46 CR hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears. The maximum forward speed - 5.7 mph (9 km/h), maximum reverse speed - 2.5 mph (4 km/h).

The Husqvarna YT42DXLS riding lawn mower is equipped with a manual steering, pneumatic wheels, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x10.00-8 rear tires. The tractor is compatible with a 42" mid-mount 2-blade side discharge mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0 in (38-101 mm), electric blade engagement, 6 cut positions, 2 anti-scalp wheels, and mechanical lift system with hand operated.
