Husqvarna YT48DXLS Troubleshooting

The Husqvarna YT48DXLS lawn tractor was manufactured from 2017 to 2020. The Husqvarna YT48DXLS driveline components: Kohler KT740 4-cycle OHV twin-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine or Kawasaki FR691V 4-cycle vertical-shaft V-twin cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine, and Tuff Torq K46 CR belt-driven hydrostatic transaxle with foot-controlled variable speed drive.

The 44.2 cu.in (725 cc) Kohler engine has a cylinder bore of 3.27" (83 mm), piston stroke of 2.64" (67 mm), and rated power of 25 hp (18.6 kW). The 44.3 cu.in (726 cc) Kawasaki engine has a cylinder bore of 3.07" (78 mm), piston stroke of 3.00" (76 mm), and rated power of 23 hp (17.3 kW). The maximum forward speed - 5.7 mph (9 km/h), max. reverse speed - 2.5 mph (4 km/h). The Husqvarna YT48DXLS is equipped with 16x6.50-6 front tires and 20x10.0-8 rear tires. The wheelbase is 48" (1220 mm).

The lawn tractor is compatible with a 48" mid-mount 3-blade side discharge mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0" (38-101 mm), electric blade engagement, and mechanical lift system with hand operated.

Starter cranks slow
Low battery output voltage - Battery is drained, charge it
Battery discharges quickly - Service battery or change it
Disconnected battery cables or bad terminals - Check cable connections and change or clean terminals
Starter will not crank
Battery is discharged or defective - Charge or replace the battery
Wiring is incorrectly connected or disconnected - Inspect wiring and connect correctly
Low battery output voltage - Battery needs to be recharged
Spark plug worn or incorrectly gapped - Clean and gap or replace
Solenoid or starter motor failure - Starter/solenoid needs to be replaced
