Husqvarna YTH 150 Troubleshooting

The Husqvarna YTH150 lawn tractor was manufactured from 1995 to 2007. The components of Husqvarna YTH 150 powerline system: Kawasaki FH430V 4-cycle vertical-shaft V-twin cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine and Hydro-Gear belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.

A 26.3 cubic inches (431 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 2.56" (65 mm), piston stroke of 2.56" (65 mm), and rated power of 15 hp (11.2 kW). The maximum forward speed - 5.5 mph (8.8 kph), max. reverse speed - 2.4 mph (3.8 kph).

The Husqvarna YTH150 is equipped with a manual steering system, disc brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x10.00-8 rear tires. The wheel base is 47.6 in (1200 mm). The lawn tractor is compatible with a 42" mid-mount 2-blade side discharge mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0" (37-100 mm), 6 cut positions, and manual lift system.

Engine Troubleshooting
Engine doesn't start or starts hard
Fuel tank is empty - Add fuel
Wrong fuel grade - Change gasoline
Clogged fuel system - Remove clogging
Loose or disconnected spark plug wire - Inspect the spark plug wire connection, replace or repair
