John Deere D160 Lawn Tractor
The
John Deere D160 lawn tractor was manufactured between 2011 and 2017. The John
Deere D160 powertrain system components: Briggs and Stratton 44M777 4-cycle
vertical-shaft V-twin cylinder OHV air-cooled gasoline engine and Kanzaki Tuff
Torq HD K46 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and
reverse gears.
A 44.2 cubic inches (724 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.12" (79
mm), piston stroke of 2.89" (73 mm), and rated power of 24 hp (17.8 kW).
The maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 5.5 mph (8.8 kph) and 3.2
mph (5.1 kph).
The John Deere D160 is equipped with a manual steering, mechanical shoe
brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires, and 22x9.50-12 rear tires. The wheelbase
is 49 inches (1240 mm). Compatible attachments for the tractor: a 48"
mid-mount 3-blade mower deck with mechanical spring assist lift, 46"
front blade with lift height of 6.5" (165 mm), and 43.25" front-mount
dual-stage snow blower.
