The
John Deere GT235 is a GT200 series garden tractor. This model was manufactured
from 1999 to 2005.
The John Deere GT235 powerline components: Kawasaki FH580V vertical
V-twin cylinder air cooled gasoline engine or Briggs and Stratton 350777
Vanguard vertical shaft V-twin cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine, and
Tuff Torq K71 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission. The Kawasaki engine
has a cylinder bore of 2.92" (74 mm), piston stroke of 2.69" (68 mm),
and rated power of 17 hp (12.7 kW).
The Briggs engine has a cylinder bore of 2.83" (72 mm), piston stroke of
2.75" (70 mm), and rated power of 18 hp (13.3 kW). The maximum forward
speed - 7 mph (11.3 kph), max. reverse speed - 4 mph (6.4 kph). The
tractor is equipped with 16x6.50-8 front tires and 23x10.50-12 rear
tires. The wheelbase is 49" (1240 mm).
Compatible attachments for John Deere GT235: a 48" mid-mount 3-blade
mower deck with cutting height of 1-4" (25-102 mm) and electric blade
engagement, 42" front-mount single-stage snowblower with clearing height
of 16" (405 mm), 46" front blade with mechanical lifting system, and 30"
rear-mount mechanical tiller.
