John Deere L100 Maintenance
The
John Deere L100 lawn tractor was manufactured between 2003 and 2005. The John
Deere L100 driveline system components: a 30.6 cu.in (501 cc) Briggs and
Stratton 31F707 4-cycle single cylinder OHV air-cooled gasoline engine with a
rated power of 17 hp (12.7 kW), and Dana 4360 belt-driven gear transmission with
5 forward and 1 reverse gears.
The engine has a float type carburetor, pulse type fuel pump, and full
pressure lubrication system including oil pump with filter. The maximum
forward speed - 5 mph (8 km/h), maximum reverse speed - 2.3 mph (3.7
km/h).
The John Deere L100 is equipped with a manual steering system, wet disc
brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x8.00-8 rear tires. The wheelbase
is 49" (1240 mm). The tractor is compatible with the following
attachments: a 42" mid-mount 2-blade mower deck with cutting height of
1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm) and manual lift system, 46" front blade with lift
height of 6.5" (160 mm), and 42" front-mount 2-stage snowblower with
clearing height of 21" (530 mm).
