John Deere LX255 Lawn Tractor
The
John Deere LX255 lawn tractor was manufactured between 1999 and 2001. The John
Deere LX255 driveline consists of a Kohler Command CV15S vertical shaft
four-cycle 1-cylinder gasoline engine and Tuff Torq K62 belt-driven hydrostatic
transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
The 26.1 cu.in (426 cc) Kohler engine has a cylinder bore of 3.6" (90
mm), piston stroke of 2.64" (67 mm), and rated power of 15 hp (11.2 kW).
The maximum forward speed - 5.5 mph (8.8 km/h), max. reverse speed - 3
mph (4.8 km/h). The tractor is fitted with 15x6.00-6 front tires and
20x10.00-8 rear tires.
The wheelbase is 47.5 inches (1200 mm). The John Deere LX255 can be
equipped with the following attachments: a 42" mid-mount 2-blade mower
deck with cutting height of 1.5-4" (38-102 mm), 48" mid-mount 3-blade
mower deck with 13 cut positions, 42" front-mount 1-stage snowblower
with clearing height of 16.3" (410 mm), and 42" front blade with manual
lift system.
