John Deere LX277 is a 2WD lawn tractor from LX200 series. This model was
manufactured between 1999 and 2003. The John Deere LX277 driveline components: a
30.2 cu.in (494 cc) Kawasaki FH500V 4-stroke vertical shaft V-Twin cylinder
gasoline engine and Tuff Torq K62 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with
infinite forward and reverse gears.
The engine has a cylinder bore of 2.68" (68 mm), piston stroke of 2.68"
(68 mm), and rated power of 17 hp (12.6 kW). Max. forward speed - 5.5
mph (8.8 kph), maximum reverse speed - 3 mph (4.8 kph). The tractor is
equipped with a manual steering system or all wheel steering (LX277AWS),
internal expanding brakes, 16x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x10.00-8 or
20x10.00-10 (LX277AWS) rear tires.
Compatible attachments for the John Deere LX277 tractor: a 42" mid-mount
2-blade mower deck with cutting height of 1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm) and
manual lift system, 48" mid-mount 3-blade mower deck with cutting height
of 1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm), 13 cut adjustments, and mechanical lift system,
42" front-mount single-stage snowblower with clearing height of 16.3"
(412 mm), and 42" front-mount blade.
