The
John Deere STX30 lawn tractor was manufactured between 1989 and 1993. The John
Deere STX30 tractor is powered by Kohler Command LT CV12.5 4-cycle single
cylinder OHV vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine. A 24.3 cubic inches (398
cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.43" (87 mm), piston stroke of 2.64" (67 mm),
and rated power of 12.5 Hp (9.3 kW). This model is fitted with a belt-driven
gear transmission with 5 forward and 1 reverse gears.
The John Deere STX30 is equipped with a manual steering system, electric
PTO clutch, external disc brakes, 13x5.00-6 front tyres, and 18x6.50-8
rear tyres. The operating weight is 417 lbs (190 kg). Compatible
attachments for the tractor: 30" mid-mount 1-blade mower deck with
cutting height of 1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm), and 38" front-mount single-stage
snowblower with a manual lift.
