John Deere X127 Troubleshooting

The John Deere X127 is a two-wheel drive lawn tractor from X100 series. This model was manufactured from 2021 to 2025. The driveline consists of 40.1 cu.in (656 cc) Briggs and Stratton 40N877 Intek IC 4-cycle V-twin cylinder OHV vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 16.9 Hp (12.6 kW), and Tuff Torq TL200 hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.

The John Deere X127 is equipped with a manual steering system, mechanical PTO clutch, disc brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x8.00-8 rear tires. The operating weight is 451 lbs (205 kg). The John Deere X127 tractor is compatible with the following attachments: 42" mid-mount 2-blade mower deck with a mechanical lift system, 44" front-mount single-stage snow blower, and 46" front blade.

Excessive mower vibration
Drive sheave of mower deck is dirty or worn - Clean or replace sheave

Mower blades are bent or out of balance - Balance or replace blades
Loose blade mounting bolts - Bolts need to be tightened
Discharge chute is regularly plugged
Mowing speed is too high - Use a lower speed
Long grass - Must be set to low cutting height

Starter motor won't turn
