John Deere X140 Troubleshooting

John Deere X140 is a two-wheel drive lawn tractor from X100 series. This model
was manufactured from 2007 to 2010. The driveline consists of 40.1 cu.in (655
cc) Briggs and Stratton 407577 4-cycle V-twin cylinder OHV vertical shaft
air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 17.8 Hp (13.3 kW), and Tuff
Torq HD K46 hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
The John Deere X140 automatic is equipped with a manual steering system,
electric PTO clutch, disc brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires, and 22x9.50-12
rear tires. The operating weight is 524 lbs (238 kg). The John Deere
X140 tractor is compatible with a 48" mid-mount 3-blade mower deck with
a cutting height of 1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm) and mechanical lift system.
