Toro 12-38 XL Lawn Tractor
The
Toro 12-38XL 2WD lawn tractor was manufactured from 1993 to 1995. The Toro 12-38
XL tractor is powered by 28.4 cubic inches (465 cc) Briggs and Stratton 282707
4-cycle single cylinder OHV vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine with a
rated power of 12 Hp (8.9 kW).
The engine has a float fixed main jet carburetor, full pressure
lubrication, paper air filter with a foam pre-cleaner, and electronic
ignition system. The lawn tractor is fitted with Peerless MST-205
belt-driven gear transmission with 5 forward and 1 reverse gears.
The maximum forward speed - 5 mph (8 km/h), maximum reverse speed - 1.7
mph (2.7 km/h). The Toro 12-38XL is equipped with a manual steering,
band brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 18x9.50-8 rear tires. The
tractor is compatible with a 42" front blade, or 38" mid-mount 2-blade
mower deck with cutting height of 1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm) and mechanical
lift system.
