Toro 13-38 HXL Lawn Tractor
The
Toro 13-38 HXL 2WD XL-series lawn tractor was manufactured between 1996 and
1998. The Toro 13-38HXL driveline consists of Briggs and Stratton 28M707 4-cycle
single cylinder OHV vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine and Hydro-Gear
321-0500 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse
gears.
A 28.4 cubic inches (465 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.44" (87
mm), piston stroke of 3.06" (78 mm), and rated power of 13 hp (9.6 kW).
The fuel system has a fixed main jet float type carburetor and pulse
type fuel pump.
The maximum forward speed - 6 mph (9.7 kph), maximum reverse speed - 2.5
mph (4 kph). The Toro 13-38 HXL lawn tractor is equipped with a manual
steering system, band brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 18x9.50-8 rear
tires. Compatible attachments for the tractor: 42" front blade, or 38"
mid-mount 2-blade mower deck with cutting height of 1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm)
and mechanical lift system.
