Toro 520 Garden Tractor
The
Toro 520 is a garden tractor from 500-series. This model was manufactured
between 1988 and 1997. The Toro 520 driveline consists of Onan P220G 4-stroke
horizontal-shaft opposed twin cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine and Eaton
1100-032 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse
gears.
A 47.7 cubic inches (781 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.25" (83
mm), piston stroke of 2.88" (73 mm), and rated power of 20 hp (14.9 kW).
The fuel system has a fixed jet carburetor and pulse type fuel pump. The
maximum forward speed - 5.6 mph (9 kph), maximum reverse speed - 3.4 mph
(5.5 kph).
The Toro 520 garden tractor is equipped with a manual steering system,
band brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires, and 23x9.50-12 rear tires.
Compatible attachments for the tractor: 36", 42", 48", and 60" mid-mount
right-discharge 3-blade mower decks with hydraulic lift system, 42"
front-mount two-stage snowblower, or 48" front-mount blade.
