Toro 523DXi Garden Tractor
The
Toro 523DXi 5Xi-series diesel garden tractor was manufactured between 1998 and
2002. The Toro 523DXi driveline consists of Briggs and Stratton 522447 4-stroke
three-cylinder horizontal shaft liquid-cooled diesel engine and Eaton Uni-Drive
1100 shaft-driven 2-range hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and
reverse gears.
A 51.8 cubic inches (952 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 2.83" (72
mm), piston stroke of 3.07" (78 mm), and rated power of 23 hp (17.2 kW).
The fuel system has an injection pump, injector nozzles, and fuel
filter. The maximum forward speed - 7.5 mph (12.1 kph), maximum reverse
speed - 3.4 mph (5.5 kph).
The Toro 523DXi garden tractor is equipped with a power steering system,
band brakes, 16x7.50-8 front tires, and 23x10.50-12 rear tires.
Compatible attachments for the tractor: 44", 48", 52", or 60" mid-mount
3-blade mower decks with hydraulic lift system, 42" front-mount
one-stage snowblower, 44" front-mount double-stage snowblower, 48"
front-mount blade, and Toro Wheel Horse front-end loader with maximum
lift height of 88" (2230 mm).
