Toro GT420 Garden Tractor
The
Toro GT420 is a 2WD 400XT-series garden tractor. This model was manufactured
from 2005 to 2006. The Toro GT420 drivetrain system components: Kawasaki FH541V
4-stroke vertical V-twin cylinder air cooled gasoline engine and Hydro-Gear
belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
A 35.7 cu.in (585 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 2.92" (74 mm),
piston stroke of 2.69" (68 mm), and rated power of 17 hp (12.7 kW). The
maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 6.9 mph (11.1 km/h) and 3.4 mph
(5.5 km/h).
The Toro GT420 tractor is equipped with a manual steering system, band
brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires, and 23x10.50-12 rear tires. The garden
tractor is compatible with the following attachments: 42", 48", or 52"
mid-mount 3-blade side discharge mower decks with cutting height of
1.0-4.0 in (25-102 mm), 7 cut positions, and mechanical lift system.
