Toro LX425 Lawn Tractor
The
Toro LX425 LX-series lawn tractor was manufactured by MTD built between 2007 and
2009. The Toro LX425 driveline consists of Kohler Courage SV600 4-cycle
single-cylinder vertical shaft air-cooled gasoline engine and mechanical CVT
transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
A 36.4 cubic inches (597 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.70" (94
mm), piston stroke of 3.38" (86 mm), and rated power of 20 hp (14.9 kW).
The fuel system has a fixed main jet carburetor and pulse type fuel
pump. The maximum forward speed - 5.2 mph (8.4 kph), maximum reverse
speed - 2.3 mph (3.7 kph).
The Toro LX425 lawn tractor is equipped with a manual steering system,
disc brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x8.00-8 rear tires. Compatible
attachments for the tractor: 42" front-mount two-stage snowblower, 46"
front-mount blade, or 42" mid-mount 2-blade mower deck with cutting
height of 1.5-4.0 in (40-102 mm), six cut positions, and mechanical lift
system.
