Wheel Horse 1054 Garden Tractor
The
Wheel Horse 1054 garden tractor was manufactured from 1964 to 1965. The
components of Wheel Horse 1054 driveline system: a 23.9 cu.in (391 cc) Kohler
K241S 4-cycle 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 10 hp
(7.5 kW), and Wheel Horse Uni-Drive belt-driven gear transmission with 3 forward
and 1 reverse gears.
The engine has a Walbro or Kohler carburetor with fixed main jet or
adjustable main jet, splash type lubrication system, and forced-air
cooling system. The maximum forward speed - 6 mph (9.6 km/h), maximum
reverse speed - 2.5 mph (4.1 km/h). The Wheel Horse 1054 was equipped
with a manual steering system, band type brakes, 4.00x8 front tires, and
6.40x15 rear tires. The wheelbase is 47" (1190 mm).
The tractor is compatible with a 42" mid-mount 3-blade RM-485 mower deck
with cutting height of 1.5-3.75" (38-95 mm) and hydraulic lift system,
37" front-mount ST-375 snowblower, and 54" front-mount BD-543 blade.
