Wheel Horse 512D Garden Tractor
The
Wheel Horse 512D is a 2WD diesel garden tractor. This model was manufactured
between 1986 and 1987. The Wheel Horse 512D powerline system components: Robin
DY41DS 4-stroke single cylinder OHV air-cooled diesel engine and belt-driven
gear transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears.
A 25.14 cubic inches (412 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.23" (82
mm), piston stroke of 3.07" (78 mm), rated power of 8.5 hp (6.3 kW), and
max torque of 19.7 Nm (14.6 lb-ft) at 2400 rpm. Max forward speed - 5.5
mph (8.8 km/h), max reverse speed - 2.6 mph (4.2 km/h).
The diesel garden tractor was equipped with a manual steering system,
band type brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 23x8.50-12 rear tires. The
wheel base is 45.5" (1150 mm). The Wheel Horse 512D is compatible with a
42" mid-mount 3-blade mower deck with manual lift system.
