Wheel Horse 518H Garden Tractor
The
Wheel Horse 518H is a 2WD garden tractor from 500-series. This model was
manufactured between 1988 and 1989. The components of Wheel Horse 518H powerline
system: Onan P218G 4-cycle horizontal-shaft opposed twin cylinder air-cooled
gasoline engine and Eaton 700 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite
forward and reverse gears.
A 47.7 cubic inches (781 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.25" (83
mm), piston stroke of 2.88" (73 mm), and rated power of 18 hp (13.4 kW).
Max travel speed (forward/reverse): 6.4 mph (10.3 km/h) and 4 mph (6.4
km/h).
The Wheel Horse 518H is equipped with a manual steering system,
mechanical band brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires, and 23x9.50-12 rear
tires. The wheelbase is 45.5" (1150 mm). The garden tractor is
compatible with 36", 42", or 48" mid-mount 3-blade mower decks with
hydraulic lift system, 48" front-mount blade, and 42" front-mount
snowblower.
