Wheel Horse 520-8 Garden Tractor
The
Wheel Horse 520-8 500-series garden tractor was manufactured between 1990 and
1991. The Wheel Horse 520-8 driveline consists of a 47.7 cu.in (781 cc) Onan
P220G 4-stroke horizontal-shaft opposed twin air-cooled gasoline engine and
belt-driven gear transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears.
The engine has a cylinder bore of 3.25" (83 mm), piston stroke of 2.88"
(73 mm), and rated power of 20 hp (14.9 kW). The fuel system has a fixed
main jet carburetor and pulse fuel pump. The maximum forward speed - 5.5
mph (8.8 km/h), maximum reverse speed - 2.6 mph (4.2 km/h).
The Wheel Horse 520-8 tractor is equipped with a manual steering, band
type brakes, 16x7.50-8 front tires, and 23x10.50-12 rear tires.
Compatible attachments for the tractor: 42", 48" or 60" mid-mount
3-blade mower decks, 46" front blade, and 42" front-mount single-stage
snowblower with mechanical lift system.
