Wheel Horse C-175 Garden Tractor
The
Wheel Horse C-175 is a 2-wheel drive garden tractor from C-series. This model
was manufactured between 1980 and 1983. The Wheel Horse C175 tractor is powered
by 42.2 cu.in (692 cc) Kohler KT17 4-cycle twin-cylinder air-cooled gasoline
engine with a rated power of 17 hp (12.7 kW).
The Wheel Horse C-175 is fitted with two transmission options:
belt-driven gear transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears, or
Sundstrand belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward
and reverse gears.
The engine has a side draft carburetor with adjustable jet, mechanical
fuel pump, and pressurized lubrication with rotor type oil pump. Max
forward speed - 6.3 mph (10.1 kph), maximum reverse speed - 3.2 mph (5.1
kph). The Wheel Horse C175 was equipped with a manual steering system,
drum type brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires, and 23x9.50-12 rear tires. The
wheelbase is 45.5" (1150 mm). The tractor is compatible with 42" or 48"
mid-mount 3-blade mower decks, 42" front-mount blade, and 42"
front-mount snow blower.
