Wheel Horse C-81 Garden Tractor
The
Wheel Horse C-81 is a two-wheel drive garden tractor. This model was
manufactured from 1978 to 1979. The components of Wheel Horse C81 powerline
system: Kohler K181 four-stroke single cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine and
6x2 Hi-Lo belt-driven gear transmission.
A 18.6 cubic inches (308 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 2.94" (74.6
mm), piston stroke of 2.75" (69.9 mm), and rated power of 8 hp (6 kW).
The maximum forward speed (Low-High range) - 1.4-5.5 mph (2.3-8.8 km/h),
maximum reverse speed (Low-High range) - 0.6-2.6 mph (1.0-4.2 km/h).
The garden tractor was equipped with 16x6.50-8 front tires and
23x8.50-12 rear tires. The wheelbase is 45.5" (1150 mm). Compatible
attachments for the Wheel Horse C81: a 36" mid-mount 3-blade
rear-discharge mower deck with cutting height of 1.25-3.25" (32-82 mm),
42" front-mount snow blower with mechanical lifting system, and 42"
front-mount blade.
