Wheel Horse D160 Garden Tractor
The
Wheel Horse D160 garden tractor was manufactured from 1974 to 1981. The Wheel
Horse D160 is powered by three engines: a 35.9 cu.in (588 cc) Kohler K341S
single cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a max power of 16 hp (12 kW),
40.3 cu.in (659 cc) Onan BF two cylinder horizontal-shaft air-cooled gasoline
engine with a max power of 16 hp (12 kW), or 43.3 cu.in (709 cc) Onan B43M
2-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a max power of 16 hp (12 kW).
The Wheel Horse D160 is fitted with a Sundstrand hydrostatic
transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.The maximum forward
speed - 7.5 mph (12.1 km/h) km/h, max. reverse speed - 3.6 mph (5.8
km/h). The garden tractor was equipped with 18x8.50-8 front tires and
26x12.00-12 rear tires. The wheelbase is 50" (1270 mm).
The Wheel Horse D160 is compatible with a 48" mid-mount 3-blade mower
deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0" (38-102 mm) and manual lifting
system, 48" front-mount snowblower, or 56" front-mount blade.
