Husqvarna TC338 Troubleshooting

The Husqvarna TC 338 2WD garden tractor was manufactured between 2014 and 2018. The Husqvarna TC338 driveline consists of Briggs and Stratton 40S777 -cycle V-twin cylinder OHV air-cooled gasoline engine and Tuff Torq K46 DF belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.

A 40.1 cubic inches (656 cc) engine has a cylinder bore of 2.97" (75 mm), piston stroke of 2.89" (73 mm), and rated power of 20 hp (14.8 kW). The fuel system has a float-feed fixed main jet carburetor and integral type fuel pump. The maximum forward speed - 5 mph (8 kph), maximum reverse speed - 2.2 mph (3.5 kph).

The Husqvarna TC 338 lawn tractor is equipped with a manual steering system, pneumatic wheels, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 18x9.50-8 rear tires. Compatible attachments for the tractor: 38" mid-mount 2-blade side discharge mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0 in (38-101 mm), electric blade engagement, 6 cut positions, and mechanical lift system with hand operated.

Engine Troubleshooting
Engine starts up hard or doesn't start
