John Deere 112 Garden Tractor
The
John Deere 112 is a garden tractor from 100-series. This model was manufactured
between 1966 and 1974.
The JD 112 driveline consists of a 4x1 Peerless 2300 gear
transmission with variable pulley drive and one of three engine models:
a 23.7 cu.in (388 cc) Tecumseh HH100 1-cylinder horizontal-shaft
air-cooled gasoline engine with a max power of 10 hp (7.5 kW), a
23.9 cu.in (391 cc) Kohler K241S 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine
with a max power of 10 hp (7.5 kW), or 29.1 cu.in (476 cc) Kohler K301S
1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 12 hp (9
kW).
Max. forward speed - 7.1 mph (11.4 km/h), maximum reverse speed -
3.1 mph (5 km/h). The tractor was equipped with 16x6.50-8 front tires
and 8.00x12 rear tires. The wheelbase is 44 in (1110 mm). Compatible
attachments for the John Deere 112 garden tractor: 38", 46" mid-mount
3-blade right-discharge mower decks with cutting height of 1-4" (25-101
mm), 42" front-mount blade, 42" center-mount blade with manual lifting
system, 36" front-mount snow blower.
