The components of John Deere 160 driveline system: a 28.2 cubic inches
(460 cc) Kawasaki FB460V four-cycle OHV single cylinder forced
air-cooled gasoline engine with a maximum power of 12.5 Hp (9.3 kW) and
Peerless 801-038A belt-driven gear transmission with 5 forward and 1
reverse gears. The engine has a float fixed main jet carburetor,
diaphragm type pulse pump, and semi-cyclone type air cleaner with dual
element.
The maximum forward speed - 4.9 mph (7.9 kph), max. reverse speed - 2.3
mph (3.7 kph). The John Deere 160 tractor is equipped with 15x6.00-6
front tyres and 18x8.50-8 rear tyres. The wheelbase is 44.7" (1130 mm).
The John Deere 160 is compatible with 36", 38" mid-mount 2-blade
rear-discharge mower decks with cutting height of 1.5-3.5 in (38-90 mm),
