components of John Deere E100 powerline system: a 30.5 cu.in (500 cc) Briggs and
Stratton 31R977 Intek 4-cycle single cylinder OHV vertical shaft air-cooled
gasoline engine and 5 variator range RT400 belt-driven continuously variable
transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
The engine has a cylinder bore of 3.56" (91 mm), piston stroke of 3.06"
(78 mm), and rated power of 17.5 hp (13 kW). Max travel speed
(forward/reverse): 5.5 mph (8.8 kph) and 3.2 mph (5.1 kph).
The John Deere E100 is equipped with a manual steering system, cone
clutch brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x8.00-8 rear tires. The
wheel base is 49" (1240 mm). The tractor is compatible with a 42"
mid-mount 2-blade mower deck with cutting height of 1.0-4.0" (25-102
mm), 13 cut positions, and mechanical lift system, 46" front blade, and
44" front-mount two-stage snow blower.
