John Deere GT245 Garden Tractor
The
John Deere GT245 is a 2WD garden tractor from GT200 series. This model was
manufactured between 2002 and 2005. The John Deere GT245 powertrain system
components: Kawasaki FH601V four-cycle vertical shaft V-Twin cylinder gasoline
engine and Tuff Torq K71 belt-driven hydrostatic transmission.
A 41.2 cu.in (675 cc) engine output is 19 hp (14.2 kW), and maximum
torque is 52.2 Nm (37 lb-ft) at 2600 rev/min. Max. forward speed - 7.0
mph (11.3 kph), max. reverse speed - 7 mph (6.4 kph).
The John Deere GT245 has a manual steering with sector and pinion, wet
disc brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires, and 23x10.50-12 rear tires. The
wheel base is 49 in (1240 mm). The tractor can be equipped with the
following attachments: 42", 44", 48", or 54" mid-mount mower decks with
a cutting height of 1.0-4.0 in (25-102 mm) and electric blade
engagement, 42" single-stage front-mount snow blower, and 46" front
blade with mechanical lift.
