John Deere LX176 Lawn Tractor
The
John Deere LX176 is a two-wheel drive lawn tractor. This model was manufactured
from 1991 to 1998. The components of John Deere LX176 driveline system: a 25.8
cu.in (423 cc) Kawasaki FC420V 4-Stroke OHV single cylinder forced air-cooled
gasoline engine with a rated power of 14 Hp (10.4 kW), and Tuff Torq K61
belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
The engine has a carburetor with a float fixed main jet, diaphragm type
pulse pump, and transistorized flywheel magneto ignition. Max. travel
speed (forward/reverse): 5.5 mph (8.8 km/h) and 2.5 mph (4 km/h). The
John Deere LX176 was equipped with a manual sector and pinion steering,
mechanical band brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tires, and 20x10.00-8 rear
tires. The wheelbase is 46" (1160 mm).
Compatible attachments for the lawn tractor: a 38" mid-mount 2-blade
mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-4.0" (38-102 mm) and manual lift
system, 44", 48" mid-mount 3-blade mower deck with cutting height of
1.0-4.0" (25-102 mm) and mechanical lift system, 38", 42" front-mount
single-stage snowblower, and 42" front-mount blade with lift height of
5" (125 mm).
