Massey Ferguson 978 Loader
The
MF 978 mechanical self leveling loader is available for Massey Ferguson 7718,
7722 tractors. The MF 978 loader has double acting hydraulic lifting and bucket
cylinders. The loader’s maximum lift height is 177.9" (4500 mm) at pin and max
bucket dump angle of 52 degrees. The lifting capacity is 6204 lbs (2820 kg) at
maximum height (bucket pin), and breakout force (bucket on ground) is 7436 lbs
(3380 kg).
Compatible buckets for the Massey Ferguson 978 front-end loader: 102"
(2600 mm) heavy-duty material bucket with a heaped capacity of 1.03 m3
(36.1 cu.ft), 102" (2600 mm) high volume bucket with a heaped capacity
of 1.85 m3 (67.8 cu.ft), 87" (2200 mm) light material bucket with a
rated capacity of 1.25 m3 (43.7 cu.ft), or 91" (2300 mm) high tip bucket
with a heaped capacity of 2 m3 (70 cu.ft).
