Massey Ferguson 290 Tractor
The
Massey Ferguson 290 utility tractor was manufactured from 1983 to 1986. The MF
290 tractor is powered by Perkins AD4.248 four-cylinder water-cooled diesel
engine with a rated power of 80 Hp (59,7 kW) and 284 Nm (209,5 lb-ft) of max
torque at 1600 rpm.
The Massey Ferguson 290 is fitted with 2 transmission options: 8x2 gear
transmission, or 12x4 Multi power transmission. The maximum forward
speed - 20,4 mph (32,8 km/h), max. reverse speed - 9,7 mph (15,6 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with flow rate of
14 gal/min (53 l/min).
The hydraulic pressure is 3000 psi (207 bar). The two-wheel drive models
are equipped with 6.50x16 front tyres and 16.9x24 rear tyres. The
7.50x16 front tyres and 16.9x30 rear tyres fit four-wheel drive
tractors. The wheelbase is 84" (2130 mm) for 2WD models and 90.2" (2290
mm) for 4WD models.
