Massey Ferguson 985 Loader
The
Massey Ferguson 985 MSL loader is compatible with MF 8450, 8460, 8470, 8480
tractors. The front end loader has double acting boom and bucket hydraulic
cylinders. The MF 985 loader has a lift capacity (at pivot pin) of 5335 lbs
(2420 kg) to a maximum height of 189" (4800 mm) and breakout force of 7319 lbs
(3320 kg) with bucket on ground. A full dump clearance with a 54-degree maximum
dump angle is 149" (3780 mm).
The rated cycle times are 8.5 seconds raising to maximum height, and 2.2
seconds full bucket dumping. The Massey Ferguson 985 loader is equipped
with a 95" (2400 mm) standard material bucket with a heaped capacity of
0.95 m3 (33.2 cu.ft), 102" (2600 mm) heavy-duty material bucket with a
heaped capacity of 1.03 m3 (36.1 cu.ft), and 102" (2600 mm) high volume
bucket with a rated capacity of 1.85 m3 (67.8 cu.ft).
